In Their Own Words: Why They’re Participating in the Artistry Workshop

As an artist and Founder–Director of Funun Arts Group, I’ve always believed that art is a bridge between creativity and community. Paperworld Middle East is a dynamic platform that celebrates innovation and culture, and I was inspired to be part of it because it allows me to share this belief with a diverse audience. My passion lies in making art accessible and meaningful, and this workshop is a chance to inspire others while also learning from the collective energy of like-minded creatives.

I’ve always believed that creativity thrives in community. Being part of Paperworld Middle East’s Artistry Workshop is a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of hands-on creation with people from different backgrounds. It’s inspiring to see an event that celebrates not only art materials but the process of making — where ideas turn tangible and creativity becomes an experience.

Participating in the Artistry Workshop at Paperworld Middle East feels like a natural extension of my passion for blending creativity with cultural storytelling. The event’s focus on innovation and hands-on artistry aligns beautifully with my mission to make origami both accessible and meaningful. I was especially drawn to the opportunity to engage with families and young learners, creating moments that are both playful and educational. Being part of such a vibrant platform in Dubai allows me to share my craft with a diverse audience and celebrate the universal language of paper art.

The experience of inspiring others, exchanging ideas, and being part of a creative community is deeply rewarding. It allows me to grow as an artist, gain exposure, and build meaningful connections that often open new doors in unexpected ways. For me, art is about contribution as much as creation — and this workshop offers the perfect space for both.
